Recently I heard about an open source electric car. Its called the OSVehicle. It is a platform for people to create their own shells on a ready chassis kit and make their own electric cars. With the news of countries banning petrol and diesel vehicles in near future, EV’s will be mainstream. And being a car enthusiast, this really got my attention. Right now I am designing possible shells for the Tabby Evo model. There are already some really nice prototypes made by different people around the world. The kits are not available right now because it is still in the reviewing stage but I am really excited to get my hands on one and make my own EV.
